Your scorecard, your record

Privacy

This is a preview of how the local app handles data. The final privacy policy, operator details and contact address will be published before the public app launches.

What the app keeps

The first version works without an account. Scores, names, optional contact details, course and tee information, dates, profile information and selected photos are stored in the app on your iPhone. Its Feed shows your local saved rounds; it does not publish them to other users.

Reading and photos

Scorecards are read on your device. You review suggested scores before adding them to the round. The photo picker gives the app the photos you select, and camera access is used when you scan a card. Original photos may contain metadata such as when or where a photo was taken.

The proposed first public version does not include cloud-assisted reading. If an optional cloud reader is added, its providers, data handling and permission flow will be disclosed before use.

Sharing is your choice

Sending a scorecard opens Messages, Mail or the iPhone share sheet. You choose a recipient and confirm sending. A scorecard includes names and scores. It does not include your saved contact list or original card photo.

Export includes the contact details you entered, rounds, unfinished drafts, revision history, profile information and original image files. Only share exported files with people you intend to give that information to. Copies sent through other apps are governed by those services’ settings and policies.

Retention and removal

Editing a saved round keeps earlier versions. Removing a photo from a round or profile does not necessarily erase the underlying original. Moving a round to Recently Deleted removes it from active history and statistics while preserving its data, photos and earlier versions for restoration. Recently Deleted does not automatically clear or permanently erase records.

Deleting the app removes its local files; offloading it retains the data. Copies in exports, messages and device backups are separate. Export anything you wish to keep before deleting the app. In-app import and restore from an export are not yet available.

Device backups

The first version does not sync rounds to a Lying 0 account. Depending on your settings, Apple’s iCloud or computer backups may include local app data. Manage those backups through Apple’s settings.

Tracking and this website

The local app has no advertising, tracking or usage analytics. This website contains no added advertising or analytics scripts and no signup form. Its hosting and access service may process ordinary request information, such as IP address and request time, to deliver and secure the site.

Before public release

The final policy will identify the operating company, give a monitored privacy contact and describe the services actually enabled in the submitted version. See Support for help during private testing.
