A hand with your round

Support

Lying 0 is currently in private development. Public downloads and a dedicated support contact will be available at launch.

Photographing your card

Lay the card open in even light. Keep every player’s scores, the hole numbers and the course name visible. Avoid shadows, glare and fingers across the writing. You can also choose an existing photo or enter scores manually.

Checking the scores

Reading can miss or misread handwriting. Compare each suggested row with the original card, match it to the right player and correct unclear numbers before saving. An unknown score stays incomplete; it never counts as zero.

Tap a score to edit it. Turn your phone sideways to see all 18 holes, or use the front and back nines in portrait. If rotation is locked, both nines remain available.

Choosing a match

Choose No match when you only want the scores. Gross best ball uses the scores you made. Net best ball needs each player’s current Handicap Index and confirmed course, tee and hole information. Sunningdale uses the catch-up rule described in the app.

When a card has no printed pars, you can still keep gross scores and compatible match results. Par-based statistics stay unavailable instead of assuming a par.

Saving and sharing

Close keeps an unfinished card as a draft. Save round records the reviewed round. After saving, choose a player to prepare their scorecard for Messages or Mail. You confirm the recipient and send it yourself.

Sharing does not create a friend account or place a claimable score in another person’s app. Connected social features are not part of the first local version.

Photos from the round

The scorecard photo is the original reference. Add round photos separately for memories of the day. A profile photo is optional. Choose Cancel if a photo transfer is taking too long, then try again when the photo is available on your phone.

Moving a round out of your history

Use the round’s More menu to move it to Recently Deleted. Restore it from Profile → Recently Deleted. This removes it from your active history and statistics while keeping its data available to restore; it does not permanently erase the files.

Keeping your records

The first version saves on your iPhone. Profile → Export rounds and photos prepares the data and image files for you to save elsewhere. Keep those files together. In-app import and restore are not yet available. Apple device backups depend on your device settings.

Reporting a problem during the pilot

Use your existing contact with the person who provided the private build. Include the app version, iOS version, what you were trying to do and what happened. Remove other players’ contact details from screenshots. Keep your original paper card or photo until you have checked the saved round.
